Description
Iconic minimalist sculpture by Frosty Myers
The Wall is an art installation by sculptor Frosty Myers. As its name suggests, the work, dating from 1972, spreads over the entire wall of a building on the SW corner of Broadway / Houston.
The Wall has a turbulent history. It was temporarily removed in 2002, then returned to its rightful place in 2007, but local retailers covered some parts of the work with advertisements. Today, The Wall is protected under the city’s landmark laws.
