Historic Manhattan neighborhood

Nolita, short for North of Little Italy, is an upper class neighborhood in New York City, in the borough of Manhattan. It doesn't keep its former Italian character. Instead, it is trendy and fashionable, a mecca for luxury shoppers and gourmet diners.

Some of the historic landmarks in Nolita include St. Patrick's Old Cathedral, St. Michael's Russian Catholic Church, the Puck Building, the 14th Ward Industrial School, designed by Calvert Vaux, and several other historic architectural gems.
